Yes, eyebobs reading glasses come with a protective case.
When I try to checkout, what does the "Save As" mean on the address page?
This feature allows you to label or name your address. Are you entering your home address, work address, your sister's house, your cabin? For the address you use, you'll need to give it a name like 'home', 'work', 'sister'; or whatever and type that name into the "Save As" field. Then next time you place an order you can quickly choose the address you want to use and the site will automatically populate the address fields for you.

I live in Minneapolis or will be traveling there, can I come by to see all your styles?
Our Minneapolis location is our main office and warehouse. We are not open to the public. We have several retailers in the Twin Cities that carry our line. Please use our store locator to find an eyebobs retailer anywhere in the country.
How does the Find a Store/Store Locator work?
You can find eyebobs retailers throughout the US and Canada by entering a zip code or Canadian postal code, choose the distance you are willing to travel (10, 25, or 50 miles) then click on the magnifying glass. A list of retailers and their locations will appear. If you'd like to search by city or state or you are looking for a particular store click on the advanced search.
How soon will my order ship?
Orders are sent out in the order they are received and generally ship the same day or the following day. We ship Monday through Friday, so orders placed on a weekend will not ship until Monday or Tuesday. For orders placed on our website, email is our primary method of contacting you when an item is out of stock or on back order so be sure to check your email in the days following to be sure there are no problems with your order.
How long is standard shipping?
Many people have been surprised by how quickly their eyebobs arrive. We are in the Midwest so you can guess that the closer you are the less you'll wait and the farther away you are the longer it will take. Generally, orders of 4 items or less should arrive within 2-5 days via USPS Priority Mail. Orders of 5 or more items arrive between 3 and 7 days via UPS Ground.
How does Next Business Day delivery work?
For those of you who need to see right NOW we offer Next Business Day delivery. When you order before 4pm your order will be delivered before the end of the following business day. Keep in mind that if you choose this option after 4pm it will ship the following business day and arrive the business day after that. Also remember that Saturday, Sunday, and holidays are not considered Business Days.

If you live in the Midwest (particularly Minnesota, Wisconsin, North & South Dakota, Iowa, or Illinois) consider saving your money. Standard shipping will have your order to you almost quicker than you can say lutefisk.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, please email us with your exact shipping address and we'll email you with a quote for shipping and instructions on how to order online.
What is the return policy?
You have 30 days to return unused items purchased through eyebobs.com. We will refund the purchase price of the item returned as well as any taxes that may have been applied. We do not credit for shipping. Please note any eyebobs reading glasses not purchased directly from us must be returned to the location of original purchase. We do not exchange or give credit for purchases made through our retailers.
How do I send back my return/exchange?
Returns are easy. You can send your eyebobs back in the same box they arrived in, just include a copy of the invoice and fill out the return/exchange form that was included with your order. Send your return via a reliable carrier to ensure its arrival. Please allow 5-7 business days for processing.
*a note about packaging your return - Please do not return eyebobs in envelopes. Frames sent in envelopes can be easily damaged in transit and may not be eligible for a refund.
Also, let's be kind to the earth, extra tape, packaging peanuts and bubble wrap are not necessary to ensure the safe arrival of your eyebobs return. Just make sure your eyebobs are in their protective case and inside a cardboard box with a little extra paper for padding.
What do I do if my eye-bobs sit crooked on my face or slide down my nose?
eyebobs reading glasses can be adjusted by a qualified optician to correct for uneven ears and crooked noses. Having your glasses adjusted is like having your pants tailored - it must be done in person and creates a personalized fit specifically for you. Adjustments are free at most optical stores.
How do I care for my eye-bobs?
eyebobs reading glasses need a little action now and then. Keeping your eyebobs in a case when not in use will save on a lot of wear and tear. Pockets and on top of your head are not suitable homes for your eyebobs. Bathe your eyebobs daily or as needed. Eyeglass cleaner works best, warm soapy water will do. Dry with a clean soft cloth. Do not use paper towels or Kleenex, these are wood products and can scratch the lenses. Screws will loosen over time, tighten them with a small screw driver every now and then. Visit an optical store every 6 months for an adjustment as normal wear, falling asleep in them, and putting them on top of your head can stretch the frames.
Do my eye-bobs have a warranty?
Eyebobs reading glasses have a one year warranty on manufacturing defects. This warranty does not include frames that have been sat on, chewed on by dogs, stepped on, have scratched lenses, or other wear and tear.
My eye-bobs broke, can I send them to you for repair?
Feel free to send in your broken bobs for a repair evaluation. Some repairs are covered under warranty, some incur a small charge, and unfortunately some frames are beyond repair. We will evaluate the frames and contact you with an estimate. Please include your name, address, email, and phone number in the box with your eyebobs and send to Eyebobs Repairs, 2940 Harriet Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55408. Processing of your repair will take 1-2 weeks.
* Please note that minor repairs such as replacement screws and nosepads can be mailed directly to you if you wish to do it yourself.
I need glasses for distance, can I use eye-bobs frames?
We use the same Italian plastics and hinges that the more expensive prescription frame companies use which allows you to have prescription lenses cut for our frames. Not all frames will work with all prescriptions so check with your optician about what to look for (ex. bifocal lenses need more lens depth) then pay close attention to the measurements listed under each frame description. Some optical stores will not allow you to bring in a frame for prescription purchased elsewhere. If this happens try another optical, perseverance will pay off.
How does the "for prescription" option work?
If you plan to have your prescription put into an eyebobs frame you should choose the "for prescription" option under the reading glass lens power menu. This will allow us to send you the magnification we have the most stock in (usually a 1.00 or 1.25). Your optician will remove the reading lenses and replace with your prescription.
Can you switch the lenses when I need a stronger magnification?
Readers are on and off your face, perched on top of your head, thrown in your pocket, strung around your neck and squished every time you receive a hug, they are chewed on by dogs, and played with by children. By the time you are ready for a new prescription your readers may be ready for the trash bin. If, however, you feel that you have taken exceptional care of your beloved eyebobs reading glasses and are ready to move up to a stronger power you can contact us for an estimate on new lenses or you can visit an optical store and ask them to cut new lenses in the magnification you need.
I have an eyebobs gift card to redeem and it's not working on the website.
The most common mistake people make when using a gift card it to enter the number in the coupon code box instead of the gift certificate box. The gift certificate box is on the last page of the checkout right before you would enter a credit card. Be sure to enter all the digits on the card correctly and to click on "apply" once entered.

How do the sunreaders work and why are they not recommended for driving?
eyebobs bifocal sunreaders are the perfect solution for those of you who refuse to be that guy at the coffee shop wearing his sunglasses over his readers. With the built in bifocal reading lens you can look down to read and look up to see in the distance. They do take some getting used to especially if you have not worn bifocals before and for that reason we recommend that you use them for sitting and reading only to begin with. You may find as you get used to them that walking/talking/wearing sunreaders works for you. However, because they are not custom made to fit your specific eye measurements we urge you not to drive in them.
I don't need glasses but I want to wear them for fashion, do you make frames with clear lenses?
We do not make any frames with clear lenses. If you really want to wear glasses but do not need a prescription please consult with an optical about the cost of cutting plano lenses for an eyebobs frame.
