eyebobs Warehouse Operations Manager

Job Responsibilities:

Manages team of 8 warehouse staff, improves operations, receives and stores product. 

Warehouse Operations Manager Job Duties:

  • Manages human resources for all warehouse operations team members to include recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; monitoring job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions with senior leadership; enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Contributes warehouse operations information and recommendations to the company’s strategic plans; implements productivity and quality standards; resolves problems; automates and recommends process improvements to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Plans, maintains and manages warehouse operations budget
  • Oversees and manages import and export and international shipping for products and customers
  • Manages warehouse operations systems, policies and procedures, process work flow, receiving and put-away, pick/pack/ship, inventory control and shipping and participates in all aspects of operations when needed.
  • Develops warehouse design by planning layout, product flow, and product handling systems; evaluates and recommending new equipment.
  • Collaborates with individuals and teams that are responsible for other areas of the business, such as majors fulfillment and shipping, allocation and purchasing, technology, and customer service to ensure product is properly distributed, customers are properly serviced and teams are functioning effectively together
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complies with legal regulations.

Warehouse Operations Manager Skills and Qualifications:

Managing Processes, People Management, Supervision, Data Entry Skills, Data Entry Management, Data Processing, Dependability, Reporting Skills, Analyzing Information, Dealing with Complexity, Deadline-Oriented, Knowledge of NetSuite and software with all major shipping carriers is preferred

Required experience: 3 years of Warehouse management

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick and pack customer orders
  • Ability to interpret special instructions to ensure error free shipments
  • Ability to use a scanner to verify out-going shipments
  • Verify incoming shipments and stock the warehouse as needed
  • Keep warehouse organized
  • Other duties as required

Education and Experience

  • knowledge of relevant software applications
