Customer Service Experience

We are seeking a flexible, hard working, business minded candidate to join our team. Our ideal applicant is a customer service dynamo, and doesn't mind rolling up his or her sleeves to help out in our packing and shipping department. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls
  • Take orders
  • Process customer returns and exchanges
  • Communicate with customers via email
  • Investigate and resolve customer inquiries
  • Work directly with customers, making product recommendations when appropriate
  • Accurately pick and pack customer orders
  • Ability to interpret special instructions to ensure error free shipments
  • Ability to accurately invoice orders and collect payments due at time of shipment
  • Verify incoming shipments and stock the warehouse as needed
  • Keep warehouse organized
  • Other duties as required


Education or Experience

  • The candidate we are looking for must have direct customer service experience, whether it is on the phone or in person.
  • Optical experience a bonus!


Key Competencies

  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge of NetSuite preferred, but not mandatory

Packing and Shipping Pro

We are searching for a flexible, hard-working packing and shipping dynamo to work with us full time, Monday through Friday. Join a team of creative, quirky, hard working professionals with a strong commitment to their customers, their product, and the company.

 

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick and pack customer orders
  • Interpret special instructions to ensure error free shipments
  • Use a scanner to verify out-going shipments
  • Verify incoming shipments and stock the warehouse as needed
  • Keep warehouse organized
  • Other duties as required

 

Education and Experience

  • Knowledge of relevant software applications
  • Understanding of shipping concepts and carrier details
  • Proficient in use of email and internet
  • Good number skills and attention to details
  • Keyboard skills
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Knowledge of administrative procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent
