2021 has already brought a variety of changes to the fashion scene, and spring looks are setting the stage for newfound summer styling! We know you love to make a statement, so let's discuss what's happening in the world of bold fashion (with the help of one of our favorite fashionistas, Julie Harbour)!     Go for Matchy-Matchy.

    Uber matchy outfits are back, which is really great news for those of us that buy everything in our favorite color. Pulling the matchy-matchy effect through to your glasses is just one more way to elevate this trend! In Julie's outfit, for example, we see a mix of patterns (the tortoise on the frames and the floral pattern on the bag) that match the monochromatic moments of the yellow dress. It's all brought together so flawlessly by the same yellow tone throughout!

    The bold trends continue! Combine your polka dots, stripes and florals to stand out. A juxtaposing frame will only add to the overall confident and chic effect! Notice the neutrals at play (the tan jacket, the navy pants, the cream handbag) and how they juxtapose the loud pops of color in her smaller moments (her red lips). The emphasis really highlights her face, which we all want to be the main event, regardless of what we're wearing. Plus, pairing a red lip with a bold frame is a timeless statement.
