Extras That Feel Essential: Extras That Feel Essential:

    Our Story.

Drugstores were full of cheap readers and optical retailers carried expensive designer frames, but there were no options in the gulf between. Enter eyebobs.

    Our Difference.

We painstakingly select the very best materials, like luxury acetate, comfortable spring hinges, and best-in-class, optical quality lenses.

    Our Promise.

We won’t take “meh” for an answer. If your life hasn’t been changed by one of our frames, our job has yet to be done.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Will an oval frame suit my face?
An oval frame suits you if you have a strong jawline or high cheekbones, because its curves soften those angles. If your face is already round, a square or rectangular frame will suit you better.
What is the difference between an oval frame and a round one?
An oval lens is wider and more oblong than a round lens. A round lens is about as tall as it is wide, which gives it more of a statement look. If you want something versatile with a little personality, try an oval frame like Ahead of the Curve.
I have never worn readers. What strength do I start with?
While most people use readers between +1.00 and +2.50 diopters in strength, the strength you need will depend on your eyesight. Our reader strength test is a printed chart you can read and find the right strength for you.
Can I change the lenses later without buying the frame again?
Yes, if you want a new reader strength, blue-light, or any other new lens, we offer replacements. Follow the instructions on our Lens Replacements page to get started.
