Round Sunglasses

What face shapes look best in round reading glasses?

As a general rule, those with angular features will find that circular frames balance their faces beautifully. That means if your face shape looks like a square, diamond, or heart, feel free to go all-in on round frames.

What are round frame glasses called? Do they have a particular name or label?

Ask around, and you’ll most often hear these frames called round or circle glasses. Yes, we lied about the puns. We can’t help ourselves, but we can help you find frames that will ensure you’re the center of attention. You’re welcome.

Are round reading glasses on women flattering?

Are circles round? Yes and yes. Perhaps you associate circular lenses with being rather bohemian in style (they were popularized by John Lennon, after all) but we’re happy to report that reading glasses for women can be seriously sophisticated as well. Whether you’re making the rounds in the party circuit or lounging around the house, circular reading glasses will have you looking all-around stylish.

Can I find small or narrow round readers?

But of course, dear reader! Our round readers, like all our frames, were created to fit a whole host of noggin sizes. We have plenty of small and narrow-sized reading glasses that will most certainly have you wrapped around their little temples. Old Money will let everyone know you move in the best circles, and confirm that sophistication can come in small packages. Ultra-thick, ultra-bold Temple Tantrum will have onlookers struggling to wrap their heads around the breadth of your sheer fabulousness. Board Stiff and Wafer offer more classic, laid-back options. See? Our circles truly have no end.

Can any gender wear round reading glasses?

Hmmm, let us think … YES. We’re not in the business of cramping your style, so we’re happy to let you know with no small amount of certainty that round reading glasses can indeed be worn by anyone. This should come as welcome news to all those looking to round out their women's or men's reading glasses collections.

Can I get round reading glasses that are also sunglasses?

You certainly can. Our full-lens reader sunglass lenses come fully tinted with your reader strength of choice throughout the whole lens. They also happen to be anti-reflective, scratch-resistant, and offer 100% UV protection. But wait, there’s more: these highly adaptable lenses can be fitted into any one of our frames, including the round ones. Go ahead, circle the sun in style.

Do round reader sunglasses come in polarized lenses?

Most definitely. Our polarized reader lenses are well-known in eyewear circles for being high-quality, 100% UV protected, anti-reflective, and very, very suave. We suppose you could call them well-rounded, especially when fitted into a circular pair of frames. They work around the clock to make sure your vision is as acute as can be.

How do I find round readers that fit my face the best?

We suggest perusing our Fit Guide to ensure your new circular readers are worthy of a rowdy round of applause. Knowing whether your noggin is narrow, average, or wide-sized is key – as a general rule of thumb, your frames should be no more than a finger’s width from your face. Narrow frames have widths up to 130 mm, average frames fall between 131 and 139 mm, and wide frames are 140 mm and above. We’ll pause while you pull out your measuring tape.

Now you’re exceedingly well-read on the subject of round reading glasses. Cheers! This round’s on you, and it looks damn good.

Are all round sunglasses circular?

No, “round” is a broad term covering all types of glasses in this instance that have rounded or smooth edges. These can be oblong or oval-shaped, for example. That said, all circular-shaped sunglasses are indeed round.

Can round frames be outfitted with other lens types?

Absolutely! Our round frames can be customized with prescription, transition, polarized, reader and blue light lenses. We even offer some combos such as reader or prescription sunglasses, or blue light readers, for example.
